PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (BUMA), the principal subsidiary of PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (Delta Dunia Group), has successfully extended a coal mining contractor contract with PT Indonesia Pratama (IPR), a subsidiary of PT Bayan Resources (Bayan Group) on 23 October.
The contract extension spans 11 years, starting in 2024, and will significantly increase total overburden removal to approximately 1.827 billion bcm and coal production to 465 million tons over the contract period.
The value of the contract has significantly increased to approximately IDR 107.8 trillion, or US$7.8 billion.
This extension signals BUMA‘s success in growing its core Indonesian business.
